On the occasion of the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, the creative team of the State Music and Drama Theater of the Dashoguz velayat named after Nurmuhammet Andalyp prepared a gift for the smallest lovers of theatrical art.

The new musical performance “Azaşan owlajyk”, which tells about friendship, mutual assistance and support, was staged based on the play by the famous Turkmen writer and playwright Hemra Shirov. The production was directed by Guvanch Baymedov.

Both children and adults will be interested in watching how events unfold in a fairy tale. There are completely different characters on the stage - an insidious crow, a wolf, a frisky kid and others. Everyone has their own character and attitude towards friendship. But still, when trouble comes, the heroes rush to each other's rescue.

–We chose Hemra Shirov's fairy tale for staging, as it is instructive”, –says Guvanch Baymedov, director of the play. -Children is our future. They should be brought up on good and kind literature. For our part, we tried to convey on the theater stage the atmosphere of the Garagum desert, where events are unfolding. Characteristic decorations were created. Also, to add a bright musical effect, modern sound equipment was used.

Soon, a new play for children will take its rightful place in the permanent repertoire of the theatre.
