The creative potential of Turkmenistan for the benefit of its native people and all humankind

The priority areas of the state policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov are ensuring the stability and security of the Motherland, its progressive development, promoting the progress and prosperity of our society.

On October 24, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country, where he observed the course of the joint military field exercises of the Armed Forces and other military branches held at the Naval Training Center located on the territory of the Turkmenbashi etrap.

Getting acquainted with the samples of the military air arsenal presented at the International Airport of Turkmenbashi - fighters and combat helicopters, cargo aircraft, as well as new military aircraft of modern modification, the head of state emphasized the consistency of strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies. In this context, the importance of systematic advanced training of military personnel, including young soldiers who operate military equipment, and officers was noted.

To conduct joint military field exercises in order to test the combat capability of the National Army and improve the skills of military personnel, the personnel of the Armed Forces of the country and other troops were brought to a state of combat readiness.

With the help of the TürkmenÄlem 520E artificial satellite, the flight trajectory and fire strikes of the drones involved in the exercises, as well as the tactical actions of the troops, were broadcast online on a special monitor.

For the first time, the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle was used in the exercises, which, with an accurate shot from a height of 5,000 meters and a distance of 8,000 meters, hit a conditional target - a radar station.

The Türkmen edermen special forces units of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country demonstrated their mastery of modern weapons and the accuracy of fulfilling the tasks set in ensuring the military security of Turkmenistan.

In addition, the head of state got acquainted with the capabilities of one of the newest types of anti-aircraft missile system designed to counter group attacks in conditions of strong electronic interference, destroy drones, jet aircraft, helicopters, air-to-ground missiles and cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs.

Air combat tactics over the range were demonstrated by fighters, attack aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force. Aircraft that have recently entered service with the country's armed forces were also involved, the primary task of which is to conduct reconnaissance flights to determine targets.

Reliable protection of the airspace, sea and land borders of Turkmenistan was provided by the Air Defense Forces. On guard of peace and security in the Caspian Sea, the warships of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the country carried out their combat watch flawlessly.

The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country highly appreciated the high level of organization of joint military field exercises.

On October 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system, which reviewed the state of affairs in the agro-industrial sector.

The head of state stressed the importance of the development of the agro-industrial complex, including the priority tasks of modernizing the industry, conducting seasonal agricultural work at the proper level and in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, monitoring the pace of cotton harvesting and sowing wheat.

A number of specific instructions were given regarding the measures being taken to obtain a generous harvest of rice, sugar beets, and to prepare livestock farms for the winter.

Along with this, the need was noted to control the quality and timing of the construction of social and industrial facilities in the velayats, scheduled for commissioning this year.

On October 26, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan Konstantin Sabiashvili, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

The President of Turkmenistan and the diplomat discussed the state and prospects of cooperation, which is successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats, in particular, within the framework of the UN.

Among the key segments of interaction was the trade and economic sphere, in realizing the potential of which the joint Intergovernmental Commission plays a significant role.

As noted, the favorable geographical position of both countries and the commonality of interests create favorable prerequisites for effectively combining efforts to create multimodal transport and transit corridors using the capabilities of the Caspian and Black Sea regions.

The energy industry was also named as a topical area of partnership between Turkmenistan and Georgia. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of intensifying the dialogue in the humanitarian sphere.

Priority issues of state life related to the implementation of the country's economic and social development programs were discussed at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on a digital system on October 28.

The topics discussed included further improvement of the administrative-territorial structure of the velayats, the intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, priority areas for the development of the domestic fuel and energy complex, the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns and water supply for cropland, increasing the capacity of chemical industry enterprises, diversifying export routes for the supply of electricity, comprehensive and coordinated joint activities of the agro-industrial complex and textile industry, cooperation with the world's largest companies in the transport sector.

Information was also provided on the program of events and celebrations planned for November this year on the occasion of the opening of social and cultural facilities, and a proposal was made to create an electronic scientific and practical journal "Innovative Technologies in Turkmenistan" under the auspices of the Technology Center, operating on a self-supporting basis.

A separate topic of the meeting was the results of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, which took place on October 23-27, which, according to the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, was sent to the cities of Seoul and Busan to participate in the 15th Cooperation Forum "Central Asia - Republic of Korea".

Within the framework of the Forum in Busan, a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs was held, in this format, during which the Turkmen side among the priority areas of interaction, along with the strengthening of a constructive political and diplomatic dialogue, identified the economy and the implementation of large joint projects in various sectors, in particular, in the field of telecommunications and high technologies. The delegation of Turkmenistan also put forward specific proposals for cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.

In addition, ways to intensify partnerships in such areas as healthcare, digital technologies, tourism, energy, environmental protection, and economic security were discussed.

As a result of the ministerial meeting, a Joint Statement and the Work Plan of the Secretariat of the Central Asia-Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum for 2023 were adopted, as well as a decision on the chairmanship in this format of Turkmenistan in 2023 and holding the next, 16th Forum in Ashgabat.

As part of the 15th Forum, on October 26, a regular meeting of the Business Council "Central Asia - Republic of Korea" was held, where the prospects for deepening productive business contacts in the main areas of the economy were outlined. and plans for the future. Bilateral meetings were also held with the leadership of leading Korean companies and associations.

Meetings and negotiations were held in Seoul and Busan with a number of leaders of the Republic of Korea, during which they discussed the possibility of increasing bilateral cooperation in various areas of the economy, through parliaments and the Foreign Ministry, and also considered the issue of establishing sister city relations between the cities of Turkmenbashi and Busan.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan's foreign policy strategy was the development of constructive cooperation with the states of the Asia-Pacific region. In the Republic of Korea, our country sees a good friend and reliable partner, cooperation with which is built on the principles of equality, long-term and mutual benefit.

At the meeting, the President of the country signed the Resolution on the conclusion of a contract between the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" and the Limited Liability Company “Navoiý Milling” (Republic of Uzbekistan) on the purchase of phosphate rock, as well as the Resolution on the conclusion of an additional agreement to the contract concluded between the State Electricity Corporation “Türkmenenergo” Ministry of Energy and Joint Stock Company “Özbegistanyň milli elektrik ulgamlary” (Republic of Uzbekistan).

On October 27, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ahal Velayat, during which he got acquainted with the progress of work in the new administrative center of the region.

Arkadag also spoke with World Records Organization Advisor Aydin Turkgudzhi, who informed about the organizational issues, goals and objectives of the upcoming seminar "Organic melon growing and its contribution to the environment."

Preparation for this event, as well as the progress of construction of the center of Akhal velayat were discussed at a working meeting held by the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Arkadag got acquainted with the projects and layouts of the facilities being built and planned for construction in the new modern administrative center of the region.

It should be noted that the seminar "Organic melon growing and its contribution to the environment", which took place the next day and brought together over 500 specialized specialists, became the largest such open-air event, which is planned to be nominated for inclusion in the Guinness Book of Records.

The choice of location for the seminar - next to the administrative center under construction - was due to the uniqueness of the nature of this picturesque corner of the Turkmen land, where agriculture is actively developing, eloquently testifying to the ecological well-being of the region.

The specialists participating in the event, applying the theoretical knowledge gained in practice, laid a new vineyard, planting more than 500 seedlings of the “sunny berry” of the “black raisin” variety.

On October 30, at the Congress Center, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting at which the results of the work carried out by the national Parliament, issues of a foreign policy strategy based on the status of the country's permanent neutrality, as well as further development of parliamentary relations were considered.

The meeting was attended by leaders and members of the Halk Maslakhaty and the Mejlis Milli Gengesh, representatives of a number of structures.

The speeches emphasized that this year, at the initiative of Arkadag, new tools for bilateral and multilateral inter-parliamentary dialogue were developed, and the special significance of the First Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the Countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation held in the Turkmen capital was noted. A solid base has been created in the country for the comprehensive development of inter-parliamentary relations. In this context, reaching an agreement on the establishment of the secretariat of the Ashgabat Forum with headquarters in the capital of Turkmenistan as a permanent platform is a confirmation that the work carried out in this direction is effective.

The priorities of the activities of the national Parliament are the activation of inter-parliamentary contacts, the modernization of lawmaking and the study of best practices in the system of parliamentarism.

Turkmenistan's cooperation with major authoritative organizations, primarily with the UN, is developing dynamically.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, focused on the relevance of effectively promoting interaction along the inter-parliamentary line, maintaining an atmosphere of friendship and trust between members of the world community.

The Turkmen capital hosted the 2nd meeting of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri", timed to coincide with the Turkmen Alabay Day, which, according to the relevant Decree of the head of state, is celebrated for the first time on the last Sunday of October.

Members of the Government, heads and specialists of specialized structures and higher educational institutions, members of the Association took part in the forum. They were joined by foreign experts in the field of dog breeding via videoconferencing.

Members of the International Association emphasized the importance of discussing the issues of breeding this breed, preserving and increasing its numbers. The relevance of holding various joint events, as well as the wide popularization of the unique features of the Alabays in the world, was noted. In this context, one of the main tasks of the Association is to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relations with foreign colleagues.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, citizens who distinguished themselves in the maintenance, cultivation, breeding and glorification of Alabays in the world, which are an integral part of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, were awarded the honorary title "Türkmenistanyn at gazanan itşynasy".

By the decision of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri", its new members were awarded certificates.

In the complex of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri", within the framework of the celebration in honor of the Turkmen Alabay Holiday, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" and a thematic competition among representatives of creative professions was held.

By the decision of an authoritative panel of judges, the title of "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" was awarded to an alabay named Gonurkhan, belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Last week, the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater hosted the solemn opening ceremony of the European Union Culture Week in Turkmenistan, held under the title "Unity in Diversity".

The Acting EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Renata Vrubel, the Ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany and Romania to Turkmenistan, speaking with words of welcome, emphasized the importance of this action in strengthening peace and friendship, exchanging cultural and educational values and expanding the humanitarian dialogue.

The creative action program included concerts, exhibitions, creative meetings, master classes, conferences, training seminars for students of Turkmen universities and a wide audience, as well as a festival of European cuisine.

Among other events of the past week, the international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized by the state concerns "Türkmengaz", "Türkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" in partnership with the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company ( NaPeCo), the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, the Turkmen Forum ES with the support of the British company Gaffney Cline.

A large specialized forum was held not only in the traditional format, but was also broadcast from Ashgabat online, bringing together more than a hundred participants, including foreign representatives from almost 45 countries. Presentations were held on the formation of a strategy for the future of the international, regional and domestic fuel and energy industry.

The conference addressed such topical issues as global trends in the development of energy markets and opportunities for cooperation, development of existing and optimization of production at new oil and gas fields with the attraction of foreign investment, including for the development of offshore blocks of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.

Topics discussed included the work of the global gas industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the training of highly qualified personnel for the oil and gas industry.

Within the framework of the conference, bilateral meetings were held, including online, between the heads of structural divisions of the domestic fuel and energy complex and their foreign partners, during which strategic directions for further cooperation were discussed.

Thus, the events of the past week have once again demonstrated how systematically and successfully in Turkmenistan, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the tasks of foreign and domestic policy are being implemented, designed to ensure the further development of all spheres of life of the Fatherland, its economic progress and the happy life of the people in the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state.
