The open joint-stock company «Was» successfully operating in the north of the country has expanded the scope of its activities. A team specializing in the processing of meat products, which is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has mastered a new production - processing of fruits and vegetables. This was facilitated by the presence of a land area of 30 hectares allocated by the state to a private commodity producer, on which horticultural, as well as vegetable and melon crops are grown. For their processing, as well as the processing of raw materials purchased under contracts from other farmers, the specialists of the OJSC used a semi-automatic specialized line in their production zone, on which high-quality canned products are produced on a seasonal basis.

This year, the company's specialists sent tens of thousands of cans of tomatoes, lecho, adjika to consumers.

Such entrepreneurial activity of a private structure also made it possible to diversify the range of canned fruits and vegetables produced in the region.

In recent years, there has been a positive trend in the Dashoguz velayat to expand the scope of activities of private structures, developing new profitable areas for themselves. Thus, some individual enterprises that previously specialized in the construction sector have created their own structures in the agricultural or other sectors of the economy. Such development of the potential of small and medium-sized businesses is facilitated by the comprehensive support provided to them by the state, which further strengthens the position of business.
