The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering invites students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad to take part in the II Open International Internet Olympiad in the discipline «Strength of Materials», which will be held on the 15th of March this year.
All interested students of domestic and foreign universities can speak at the site of the Olympiad, regardless of their areas of study, years of study and specialties. From each university, three students are invited to participate, who demonstrate the best results in the subject of the Olympiad.
The International Online Olympiad will be held in the form of individual competitions. The working languages are Turkmen, Russian and English. Tasks were prepared for the participants in the discipline «Strength of materials» of the cycle of disciplines of general mathematics and natural sciences. Students will be given 6 problems and 120 minutes (2 hours) to solve them.
Assignments will be available on the day of the Olympiad on the official website of the hosting university in the Institute/International and State Olympiads section, where the registration of participants of the competition continues these days.
Representatives of the universities of Turkmenistan and foreign countries will act as members of the jury of the Olympiad, and the winners and prize-winners of the intellectual review will be determined based on the largest amount of points scored by the participants.
Winners and prize-winners will be awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees. Students who solve the problems of the Olympiad in a non-standard way are waiting for Special Diplomas.

According to the organizers, the ongoing Olympiad will contribute to the development of independent work skills, the application of theoretical knowledge in practice, scientific thinking among young people, as well as stimulate interest in the study of natural and exact sciences and will allow participants to widely demonstrate their intellectual abilities.
Representatives of the university also express confidence that the intellectual student competition will expand and strengthen the interaction of higher educational institutions and individual research centers of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, including through digital information and communication technologies, and will also become an opportunity to assess the level of knowledge of students in the subject and identify the most talented and capable participants.
