On November 6th, 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Within the framework of this Memorandum, successful work is being carried out between universities.
Based on the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic, within the framework of the Week of Italian Design, the Italian architect Matteo Rubinati, coordinator of the world-famous company Foscarini of the Italian Republic, arrived in the country on a working visit.
As part of the week held at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Italian architect Matteo Rubinati gave a lecture on the topic “Lighting quality, the impact of design on humans and the environment” among students studying architecture, urban planning and design of the architectural environment.
This course deepened students' knowledge of the peculiarities of Italian architecture and design. During the lesson, the participants exchanged questions on topics of interest.
This course became clear evidence of the successful implementation of the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan to include the country's higher educational institutions in the list of prestigious higher educational institutions of the world by 2024.
Within the framework of the week, an exhibition of works by teachers and students of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction was also organized.
