The introduction on the territory of the country of industrial enterprises for the processing of agricultural products, equipped with the latest technology, is of particular importance in order to strengthen the economic potential of the state.

There are several cotton processing plants in Lebap velayat, which are one of the main resources of the country. One of such enterprises is the cotton-spinning factory of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan in Halach etrap.

Last year, this factory, equipped with advanced equipment from Germany and Switzerland, produced 5 thousand 90 tons of cotton yarn of 14, 17, 20, 27, 34 kinds.

The factory is working on the distribution of finished products. Last year, about two and a half thousand tons of cotton yarn were supplied to the domestic market, and more than two thousand tons to the foreign market. The company exports high quality cotton yarn to countries such as Turkey and the Russian Federation.

The company employs more than 200 specialists who perfectly control the modern technologies. The traditions of mentoring established at the factory allow young specialists working here to master complex technologies quickly and at a high level.

The work of a modern laboratory at the enterprise contributes to the high quality of products and, as a result, an increase in consumer demand for finished products.

The results of the first two months of the year clearly show that the cotton-spinning factory of the Halach etrap, considered the most profitable and largest enterprise in the region, has taken a big step towards 2023.
