Turkmenistan Received a New Airliner

In the era of the Revival of a new era of a Powerful State, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, targeted measures for the development of the country's civil aviation are being systematically implemented. The new cargo airliner that arrived at the International Airport of the capital is a clear confirmation of this.

This is the first of two aircraft that arrived under the contract concluded in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan between the “Türkmenhowaýollary” agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the French company Airbus S.A.S. on the purchase of two cargo aircraft of the brand "A 330-200" type "P2F". It is the first such vessel used in Central Asia.

The acquisition of such modern airliners, along with strengthening the material and technical base of the industry, will serve to expand the capabilities of national civil aviation, meet demand in this direction, carry out air cargo transportation at a high level and create favorable conditions for expanding trade and economic ties with friendly states.

Thus, the new airliner with a carrying capacity of 60 tons and a flight range of more than 13 thousand kilometers, designed to contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks set, will further strengthen the technical base of the country's aviation sector.

The second such cargo aircraft will enter the country in the near future.
