Department of Chamber Ensemble of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after. Mai Kuliyeva is implementing the Rakhmanin's Spring project in April this year, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outstanding Russian composer. It is appropriate to note here that in Russia 2023 has been declared the year of Rachmaninov. During this year, concerts, competitions, festivals with the performance of the composer's works will be held in all cities of Russia.

April 1 - the birthday of Sergei Vasilievich Rakhmaninov - a gala concert of the project "Rakhmanin's Spring" starts in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory. The gala concert will be attended by about 20 musicians and vocalists from the Conservatory and the Special Musical Boarding School at TNK. Two Rachmaninov Concertos will be performed - the First and Second, the duet of Zemfira and Oleko from the opera "Oleko", works for violin and piano, romances.

On April 7, the Rakhmanin's Spring project will be continued by the Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov, who will give a solo concert of Rakhmaninov’s works for music lovers in the concert hall of the Philharmonic Cultural Center - 1 Ashgabat Park. The concert program will include Sonata No. 2, Preludes, Etudes-Paintings, Pieces.

It is noteworthy that with the program of this concert, Vladimir Mkrtumov will go on a tour of Mary, Lebap and Dashoguz velayats.

On April 19, the project "Rakhmanin's Spring" will end with a concert of Rachmaninov's vocal music, which will take place in the Small Hall of the Conservatory. People's Artist of Turkmenistan Gulnar Nuryeva (soprano), Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Leyli Okdirova (soprano) and diploma winner of international competitions Stella Faramazova (piano) will take part in it.
