Agricultural workers in the Balkan velayat are making great efforts to develop animal husbandry and increase its productivity.

Currently, a lambing campaign is taking place here, as a result of which the offspring of small cattle and camels has increased. It should be noted that this season in the Balkan velayat usually starts a little later than in other regions. For this reason, this campaign in the velayat ends in the second decade of April.

The Balkan livestock breeders prepared pastures and pens for sheep in an organized manner, and a fodder base was created. During the campaign, assistants were attached to the shepherds. Experienced livestock breeders of the Balkan velayat successfully completed the production plan.

To achieve this success, the shepherds of the livestock farms of the Gyzylarbat etrap "Gyzylarbat", the Turkmenbashi etrap "Balkan" and the Etrek etrap "Gyzylbaýyr" made their worthy contribution.

This year, 53 thousand lambs were received in the velayat.

With the participation of relevant specialists, all seasonal events were held in a timely manner. Also, the livestock breeders of the western region this season managed to get 744 camels.
