On the eve of Children's Day in Turkmenistan, 13 children from low-income families and orphans were operated on at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation. It is reported by MIC.

At the Scientific and Clinical Centre for Maternal and Child Health, local specialists successfully performed an operation on a two-year-old resident of the city of Ashgabat, Suleyman Orazmammedov, with a diagnosis of «Bilateral congenital flat feet». After treatment, the child's condition is satisfactory.

The diagnosis of 2-year-old Suleyman is disappointing: «bilateral congenital flat feet». The boy experienced great difficulty in trying to take his first steps. But thanks to the intervention of doctors, the child will be able to walk normally.

Also, in the international cardiology center of the Directorate of International Medical Centres, local doctors successfully performed an operation on a 4-year-old child, Alihan Annamyradov, who suffers from a congenital heart threshold and circulatory failure. Alihan was diagnosed in the first years of his life, since then he has heart failure and suffers from shortness of breath and swelling of blood vessels. Plastic surgery for a ventricular septal defect was performed under cardiopulmonary bypass. After treatment, the child's condition is stable.

All 13 patients who underwent surgery the day before at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation are under the supervision of the best medical specialists. And they're on the mend.

Doctors are already preparing the next small patients for operations. The diagnoses vary from those suffering from a threshold heart to a congenital disease of the musculoskeletal system.

Children who recovered their health after complex operations and their parents expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and the Respected President.
