Turkmenistan prepares for the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The construction of the Ashgabat Olympic Village that has no analogues in Central Asia is under completion. The representative international sports forum that will bring together 5,000 athletes from 72 countries, including Oceania, will be held in the Central Asian region for the first time. This fact testifies to the creative character of the multi-aspect strategy of development of Turkmenistan – the peace-making state, the country of high sports achievements and physical culture and health-improving movement.


Each ministry and department within the framework of their competence take part in the large-scale preparations for the main sports event in 2017. The articles and apparel with the logo of the 2017 Asian Games have already gone on sale. A wide range of goods with the distinctive symbols is presented in the Altyn Asyr Ashgabat Marketing Centre. Among them are sports costumes, T-shirts and various souvenirs manufactured from eco-friendly textile produced in Turkmenistan. Due to the smart marketing policy, which is focused on the image component given the growing customer demand and international interest, the range of goods with the symbols of the 2017 Asian Games constantly widens and the quality of products improves.


As one of the export-oriented industries of the country, the textile industry exports its products to dozens countries in the world. Soon, clothes and souvenirs with the brand and symbols of the 2017 Asian Games that unite the history, culture, traditions of the Turkmen people, its neighbourliness and openness will become a stylish dominating idea of the large-scale sports forum.
