Last year comparing to 2015, the GDP increased for 6.2 percent. This index increase for 1.2 percent in industrial sector, 4.4 percent in construction, 10.5 in transport and communication sector, 14.3 in trade, 11.6 in agriculture and 10 percent in services.
According to the reports of ministries and branch departments, generally, the production increased for 3.3 percent comparing with 2015. Almost all branches of the economy achieved high production indicators.
16.9 percent growth of retail sale was observed for the period under review comparing with previous year. The prices for consumer goods as well as tariffs for services to the population were kept within set limits.
Salaries in large and medium enterprises of the country increased 9.2 percent in 2016.
In accordance with the main directions of the development of industry in the velayats, currently, 210 facilities were built and 110 are still under construction. Put into operation of modern enterprises enhanced the provision of food abundance in the country and establishment of 18313 work places.
