Topical issues of state development will be considered at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, scheduled for September 24. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the supreme representative body of the people's power of Turkmenistan, said this at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, held on July 18.

Speaking at the meeting, the Hero-Arkadag noted that according to tradition, the people of Turkmenistan annually celebrate the Independence Day of the neutral Motherland with enthusiasm. Having a special significance, this main holiday evokes a feeling of great pride among Turkmen people, inspires everyone to achieve new high goals.

During the celebration of the country's independence, at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, we will summarize the results of the socio-economic development of our state, discuss the successes achieved, as well as the urgent tasks facing us in a new historical era, the National Leader of the Turkmen people said.

The Hero-Arkadag stressed that the main goals of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan are solving tasks of state importance, actively involving citizens in the implementation of programs, preparing proposals, strengthening the unity and cohesion of society, ensuring peaceful and prosperous life of the people, as well as contributing to the development of our independent neutral state and strengthening its power.
