Today, the National Musical and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly hosted a solemn conference "Arkadagly döwrün bardyr, Pyragy!" dedicated to the presentation of a new poem " Magtymguly Pyragy’s Storehouse of Mind", authored by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The overture of the event, designed to give a new creative impetus to the workers of the creative workshop, was the artistic and literary composition "Berkarar döwlet islärin", which tells about the cherished dream of the great poet - to live in a sovereign and free state. It has found a worthy continuation in the modern era, due to the grandiose deeds and undertakings of the Hero-Arkadag and the far-sighted policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for a magnificent gift to compatriots – a new work, and wishes for success in the field of poetry, the speakers congratulated the audience and all Turkmen citizens on this wonderful event. As noted, "Magtymguly Pyragy’s Storehouse of Mind" is the fruit of the talent of the Hero–Arkadag and a source of inspiration for everyone, especially for creative workers.

The poetic work "Magtymguly Pyragy’s Storehouse of Mind", dedicated to the significant date to be celebrated in 2024 – the 300th anniversary of the outstanding classical poet and thinker of the East, was published in the central print media.

In this context, it was emphasized that the modern historical era, which started with the program reforms of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is marked by a number of important events. Among them are the declaration of 2024 as the "Year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic World – Magtymguly Pyragy", the inclusion of Magtymguly’s manuscript collection in the International Register "Memory of the World", the inclusion of the poet's 300th anniversary in the UNESCO List of Memorable Dates.

Their importance is also emphasized in the congratulatory message of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the President of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of our country's accession to the specialized agency of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The new poem complies with the norms of content and form, harmoniously combines syllabic and rhyme, which once again demonstrates the poetic talent of the Hero-Arkadag. The work, like previously written similar creations of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reads easily and expressively. Therefore, the poems of the Hero-Arkadag find a lively response among the readers, evoking a sense of appreciation, the speakers emphasized.

During the event, excerpts from the new poetic work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people were read out, in which the poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy looks down from the foothills of Kopetdag Mountains at the achievements of a strong power – independent neutral Turkmenistan, where the people live in prosperity and unity.

Getting acquainted with the work, the reader involuntarily begins to think about the merits of the Hero-Arkadag in popularizing the personality and creative heritage of the great Pyragy.

The initiative to erect such a unique sculpture of Magtymguly on the scale of the entire region belongs to the Hero-Arkadag, who is periodically interested in the progress of construction works. When reading the poem, one is imbued with great respect for Pyragy's personality all over the world, including a huge number of sculptures in memory of him and publications– articles, scientific papers, works of art dedicated to him, the participants of the event noted.

The speakers stressed that during a working trip to the capital, the Hero-Arkadag spoke about the expediency of installing statues of foreign classical poets and thinkers on the territory of the large Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex and gave a number of valuable recommendations. This will create a unique harmony with the sculpture of our poet.

In addition, it was emphasized that the study of the content of the work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people "Magtymguly Pyragy’s Storehouse of Mind" and its popularization fall to the share of specialists and experts, scientists and creative figures.

At the same time, the creation of new works, the staging of performances and the shooting movies, inspired by the ideological message of the poem of the Hero-Arkadag, is the sacred duty of every employee of the creative field, the participants of the event noted, expressing confidence in carrying out the relevant work.

Musical and song performances, art readings gave the festive flavor of the current celebration. Famous pop singers performed songs based on the words of Magtymguly, poets recited poems by the great master of the words, literary critics voiced interesting information about the semantics of the vocabulary of Pyragy's works. All this has multiplied the atmosphere of inspiration that prevailed here.

It was also emphasized in the speeches that the sculpture of Magtymguly Pyragy, erected in the southwestern part of Ashgabat on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, causes pride among compatriots, especially among prose writers and poets. As noted, in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, under the leadership of Arkadagly Serdar, all opportunities are created for creative and fruitful work of cultural figures, masters of arts, writers.

The participants of the conference focused attention on the high milestones achieved during the years of independence in the national sphere of science and education, the importance of positive initiatives put forward by the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar in the field of international humanitarian relations, on the issues of studying the Turkmen classical literary heritage in terms of universal spiritual values. As it was emphasized, the legacy of Magtymguly, which had a great influence on the development of artistic creativity of the peoples of the world, goes beyond national borders and requires further in-depth and comprehensive study.

During the solemn conference, it was also noted that the Hero-Arkadag, having made a trip around the capital on August 17, got acquainted with the work carried out on the territory of the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex, located in the southern part of Ashgabat, and projects for further development of the capital. In this regard, the emphasis was placed on the words of the National Leader of the Turkmen people about the need for in-depth study of the works of the great thinker, active involvement of young people in this work, the importance of a responsible approach to solving the set tasks.

Large–scale celebrations in honor of the date widely celebrated in 2024 - the 300th anniversary of the great thinker of the East, a kind of start of which will be given by the opening of a large cultural and park complex, should become unforgettable, like the beautiful poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, said the Hero-Arkadag, continuing that the song and music performances organized on this occasion should be in line with the spirit of time, glorify the achievements of the native Motherland and the nationwide love for the poet.

Thus, the solemn conference became evidence of the great respect and veneration of the outstanding personality and invaluable creativity of the great Magtymguly Pyragy by the Hero-Arkadag, which was reflected in the speeches of the participants of the event, including in musical and song compositions and art readings.
