The works for improvement of the plant are undertaken by local specialists of Turkmen Enjam Company. Powerful overhead cranes, air compressor and test stand for D-6 and D-12 diesel engines are installed in motor workshop. The personnel who had special training successfully tested modern equipment.
Repair workshop, which was re-built and provided with high technology equipment from Belarus, Russia, Slovakia and Turkey, would allow carrying our wide spectrum of works. Mechanical workshop manufactures different shafts for vessels and barges used for transportation of cargoes in Karakum River.
Production area of modernized tractor workshop is 2400 square meters. Two overhead cranes, 10 and 15 tons of capacity, milling and two pressing machines have been already installed there.
Despite the reconstruction, the plant operates without stopping of main production. The personnel of the plant are 90 experienced specialist – the turners, millers, welders, caster and electricians. For the last year, they manufactured the production to the amount of more than 4 256 000 manats what considerably exceeded year plan. The production and services of the enterprise include metal constructions and nonstandard equipment, crossbeams for power lines, wheel locks for hydro technical installations as well as repair of dredgers’ hulls, running gears and track beds of bulldozers and excavators, manufacturing of spare parts, which ensure well-organized work of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of Turkmenistan departments.
The next phase of reconstruction stipulates modernization of metalwork, foundry, electrical motor repair workshop and number of other productions. High technology stock of machine tools, engineering innovations as well as professionalism of the personnel will allow Mary mechanical repair plant to increase production outputs and expand the spectrum of production and services.
