On the 29th of November, at the Centre for Public Organizations, a ceremony was held to sum up and award the winners of a creative competition of works on the new look of the Turkmen village, held by the Central Council of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan together with the editorial office of the newspaper «Turkmenistan».
70 works were submitted to the competition by authors of different ages and professions. The written articles and essays tell about the history and famous people of the village, about the activities of rural cultural centers, about connoisseurs and promoters of national heritage, about experienced farmers and gardeners who effectively use the opportunities of the modern era.
The main prize of the competition was awarded to a representative of the agricultural joint-stock company named after Sadulla Rozmetov. Participants of the competition who took first, second and third places were also awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. Among them are a correspondent for the «Adalat» newspaper, a specialist in the administration of the Gorogly etrap, a student of the Faculty of Journalism at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and a resident of the Tagtabazar etrap.
