The plant will produce clear, tinted, laminated and hardened glass for windows, different bottles for food and medical industry and other glass productions.

Having visited the facility built by Turkish «Tepe Türkmen Inşaat ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi» Company, we were impressed by the scale of construction and innovative technologies applied there. Raw material preparation workshop, tare and float glass production, industrial processing lines, other workshops, warehouses, administrative and support buildings and many others were raised at 24 hectares area. 900 people are involved in construction.


The facility is being built ahead of the schedule and might be put into operation in September of this year. Almost all objects are ready; finishing and installation works are carried out.

German company «Horn Glass Industries AG» is a subcontractor of «Tepe Türkmen Inşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş.». There are also companies from Italy, Belgium, Austria, Finland including «Edison Technologies KG» from Germany providing consulting services involved in commissioning. Turkmen private companies are attracted for construction of non-production and social and cultural facilities.


The specialists noted that production of glass would be from the local materials: quartz sand, dolomite, limestone and other components. High technology enterprise is designed for production of large variety of quality competitive glass items. The importance of the facility is defined by the government strategy for import substitution and export orientation.

Achievement of stable and efficient work depends of the level of training of the personnel. Dozens of people had training courses given by domestic and foreign specialists. Large group of future personnel of the plant studies in Russia at similar plants.

Construction of hostel and two 48-flat houses is carried out for personnel of the glass factory. Children playgrounds, sport facilities, car parking and other social infrastructure facilities are planned to be built on the territory of living estate.
