Turkmenistan's cooperation with the Big Asia Media Group is aimed at promoting a positive agenda

The grand celebrations held last week to announce the city of Anev as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, along with the accompanying international media forum "Turkmen Land - Center of Ancient Civilizations" and the international conference "Main Directions and Potential of Tourism Development in Turkmenistan", received extensive coverage in many foreign media outlets, including the "Big Asia" website.

The foundation for more systematic and timely information dissemination about Turkmenistan to the audience of "Big Asia" is provided by the cooperation agreement in the information sphere, signed by Arslan Ashirov, Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, and Alexander Lebedev, CEO of the "Big Asia" media group, on the sidelines of the media forum in Ashgabat. In his speech at the forum, the CEO of the Russian media group emphasized that it is the duty of the media to form an interesting and positive agenda, and Turkmenistan is precisely the country they want to write about.

Under the agreement, the parties agreed to provide each other with the resources of their TV channels, websites, and social networks to promote a positive agenda. In particular, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography will provide the "Big Asia" media resource with TV programs and articles about the history, culture, traditions, religion, science and technology, politics, economy and business, tourism, sports and lifestyle in Turkmenistan in the Russian language. These materials will appear on the air of the "Big Asia" TV channel, as well as in the news and Turkmenistan section under the "Asian Countries" category on the bigasia.ru website.

The agreements also include the organization and participation in events aimed at providing information support and promoting projects in the B2B and B2G segments.
