Preparations for the international forum to attract foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan, which will take place on the 24th to 25th of April, 2024 in Paris, are being completed. The forum program, speakers and session moderators, and the expected list of participants in the large-scale event have been determined, at which it is planned to consider the prospects for interaction related to the production, transportation and refining of oil and gas, the development of renewable energy, and the expansion of international dialogue on the further sustainable development of the energy sector.
National organizations and ministries of Turkmenistan will take part in the forum, whose leaders will provide potential investors with reliable and comprehensive information about new investment projects. These include: State Concern «Turkmengas», State Concern «Turkmennebit», State Corporation «Turkmengeology», Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries, State Concern «Turkmenhimiya», Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, NAPECO, TAPI Pipeline Company Limited, Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas under the State Concern «Turkmengas».
Other categories of TEIF 2024 participants are represented by: diplomatic missions in Turkmenistan and international organizations; international companies; national companies; financial institutions and banks; universities and research centers and media.
The non-state sector of the economy of Turkmenistan will be represented at the Paris forum by more than a dozen companies and individual enterprises operating in various fields. The following people have been nominated to participate in the forum: «Injener Chozgutleri» – one of the largest construction and engineering companies in the country in the field of oil and gas, industrial and energy construction; IP «Eminli Maslahat», which provides transport and logistics services by all types of transport and customs brokerage services in Turkmenistan; Individual Entrepreneur «Garagum Hazynasy», offering services in the oil and gas and energy sectors, import-export services and road freight transportation; IP «Meshur Yoly», operating in the market of Turkmenistan in the field of transport, forwarding and brokerage services.
It is expected that the «Rysgally gun», «Bereketli Ulag», «Yol Tumary» and other business structures will also take part in TEIF 2024.
