Turkmenistan's "Galkan" hockey team achieved their second major victory today at the international tournament taking place in Ashgabat. Following their crushing success in the first match against the team from Bahrain with a score of 8-1, the team, led by Andrey Makarov and Meylis Kuliev, defeated the "Oman Nationals" team from Oman with a double-digit score of 15-1.

The domination began with a long-range shot from Dovlet Khydyrov in the 1st minute. Just a minute later, Gurbanmyrat Tannyyev doubled the lead with a wrist shot into the top corner of the net. Arslan Geldimyradov scored the third goal in the 8th minute. Baymyrat Baymyradov scored in the final minute of the first period, and the teams went to the break with a score of 4-0 in favor of "Galkan".

In the second period, Begench Dovletmyradov converted a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper, increasing the score to 5-0.

At the beginning of the final period, the guests managed to score one goal. Our team's defenders overlooked Ibrahim Said Hamed Al Gabshi, who scored from close range, making it 5-1.

After that, the game was completely under the control of the eight-time champion of Turkmenistan, who scored ten more goals against the opponent in the remaining 18 minutes, setting a tournament record with a score of 15-1. The goals were scored in various ways and positions. Particularly noteworthy was the goal by Novruz Baykhanov, who went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, outplayed him, and rolled the puck into the empty net. In the third period, Erkin Kakabaev, Pavel Barkovsky and Novruz Baykhanov scored two goals each, while Perhat Atekaev, Dovrangeldi Bayjaev, Mukhammetyar Nuryev and Ovezguly Esenov each scored one goal.

After this victory, the "Galkan" hockey team has accumulated 6 points and taken the lead in Group "A".

In another parallel match in Group "B", which took place at the small ice rink of the Winter Sports Complex, the Belarusian club "Volat" defeated the Turkish team "Team-Turkiye" with a score of 3-0 (1-0, 0-0, 2-0). The goal scorers for the winners were Sviatoslav Zasadsky (8th minute), Eduard Gryn (44th minute) and Arseniy Yankovskiy (60th minute).
