Journalists of Turkmenistan are invited to participate in the competition «Caspian without borders 2024»

The XI competition for the best journalistic work «Caspian without borders» has started in Astrakhan, in which journalists from Turkmenistan and other countries of the Caspian five traditionally take part. This year the annual competition is held in the following categories:

– «PhotoCaspian» (the best photographic work on interstate cooperation between the countries of the Caspian region in the fields of economics, ecology, culture, education and tourism);

– «Men and the Sea» (the best competitive work devoted to environmental issues of the Caspian Sea);

– «Discovering the countries of the Caspian Sea» (the best competitive work devoted to issues of culture, attractions and tourism);

– «The Caspian Sea is a territory of health» (the best competitive work devoted to issues of sports and a healthy lifestyle);

– «Fresh Look» (the best competitive work in any category, submitted by participants under the age of 30).

Media, creative groups, associations and authors from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are invited to participate. Potential competitors must submit a competitive application electronically to the email address kaspcontest@astrobl.ru by the 1st of July, 2024.

Works published in print media, online publications, television and radio broadcasts from the 12th of June. 2023 to 9th of June, 2024 are accepted. The application form and other details of the creative competition can be found on the portal of the executive bodies of state power of the Astrakhan region.

The organizers of the popular project are the administration of the regional governor and the regional government department. Over ten years, about 500 media outlets and authors have already taken part in the journalistic competition, and the number of participants is growing from year to year. Summing up the results of the competition and the award ceremony for its winners and prize-winners are traditionally held within the framework of the next Caspian Media Forum.
