The 2024 Turkmenistan Futsal Super League kicked off with two matches in Ashgabat.
Six futsal clubs are fighting for the title of champion of Turkmenistan. Three of them – «Kopetdag», «Senagatbank» and «Migration» represent Ashgabat, two – «Denizchi» and TCOR from Turkmenbashy – Balkan velayat and «Turan» – Dashoguz velayat.
The championship was opened by futsal players from «Kopetdag» and TCOR. The first goal of the 2024 Super League was scored in the 7th minute of the game. Its author was Allaberdi Meredov from «Kopetdag». After 4 minutes, Maksat Amanov leveled the situation – 1:1. 3 minutes before the end of the first half, Sahetmyrat Atdayev again brought «Kopetdag» ahead - 2:1. With this score, the teams went to the break.
In the second half of the meeting, the TCOR players not only won back, but also took the lead for the first time – 3:2. First, Maksat Amanov scored a brace for the visiting team in the 25th minute, and then Mekan Shamyradov scored in the 32nd minute.
«Kopetdag» escaped defeat 4 minutes before the end of the game after an accurate shot by Kerven Annaorazov.
Having drawn with TCOR - 3:3, the silver medalist of the Turkmenistan Super League 2023 already at the start of the new season missed the first two points.
In another match of the day, «Senagatbank» won against Migration - 2:1. Both goals for the winners were scored in the first half. First, Resul Heshdekov scored in the 18th minute. Four minutes later, Nepesgeldi Atayev increased the lead to two goals. 4 minutes before the end of the game, the «Migration» futsal players, thanks to the efforts of Abdulla Gurbannepesov, «soaked» the score - 1:2, but were unable to escape defeat.
The first round will end on the 7th of May with the match «Denizchi» - «Turan».
The first four rounds of the Turkmenistan Super League 2024 are taking place in Ashgabat - in the gym of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
According to the tournament regulations, its participants will play each other in four rounds, determining the winner in October. The games will be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenbashy and Dashoguz.
