Today, on Ashgabat City Day, celebrations took place to mark the opening of 136 two-story houses built in the Choganly residential area of the Bagtyyarlyk etrap of the capital.

Day by day our capital is getting prettier, and its magnificent architectural ensemble is being replenished with new buildings and structures. The city infrastructure is being systematically modernized, which provides residents of the capital with amenities and benefits in accordance with international standards. In recent years, entire districts have been reconstructed in the capital, new comfortable residential areas have appeared, and numerous social and other facilities have been built.

Caring for people, providing the population with modern housing is a key criterion for the radical reforms started by Hero-Arkadag and today successfully carried out by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, which is consistent with the main principle of Turkmenistan’s policy «The state is for the person!».

The new residential complex is a visible result of a successfully implemented urban development program in the capital, the most important component of which is providing citizens with modern and affordable housing. The decision of the President of Turkmenistan, along with the modernization of the existing housing stock, to build not only comfortable «high-rise buildings», but also houses with fewer floors, including cottage type, with an improved layout and a full range of amenities, is aimed at achieving this goal. This allows us to further expand the opportunities for citizens to choose suitable housing that meets both high quality criteria and the individual needs and preferences of residents.
