The increase in production capacity, import substitution program, uninterrupted provision of fresh vegetables and fruits to the population are the key objectives for the development of the agro-industrial complex in the country. The construction of greenhouse complexes of various capacities, which are able to satisfy the people’s demands in fruits and vegetables, has been launched throughout the country. The integrated approach promotes employment of the population, effective and rational use of agricultural areas and further development of private entrepreneurship. Thus, the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country take an active part in the production and processing of various agricultural products in the Dashoguz Velayat.
The construction of a large modern greenhouse complex was completed in the Dowletli peasant association, Khasylchy Gengeshlik, S. A. Niyazov Etrap in the Dashoguz Velayat. It was built by the individual enterprise "Altyn gala gurlusyk" at five hectares allocated by the state for long-term property, four of which are allocated for planting tomatoes. It is planned to harvest 800 tons of tomatoes next year, including cherry tomatoes. High-yielding and disease-resistant Dutch varieties purchased abroad will be planted there.
The new building is built based on the innovative technologies both in the construction and the technological process. Given the local climatic conditions, polycarbonate and glass that possess high thermal insulation properties and long service life are used as a building material. Under optimal external weather conditions, the roofs automatically move apart.
The greenhouse is supplied with specialized equipment manufactured by leading European producers, which allows to maintain optimal conditions for the production of vitamin products: temperature and light regime, humidity level and fertilizer application. All technological processes are controlled by a special programme. The finished products will be tested for quality in a special laboratory before shipping to consumers. Greenhouses are equipped with autonomous heating and water supply systems.
There are an administrative building with a dining room, shower room, storage room for keeping fertilizers and packaging, technical facilities and parking on the territory of the complex, are built. The staff will be provided with hot meals and special clothing.
