Information about the development of the project aimed at improvement of environment condition of oil fields in Balkan Velayat was given during the session of Turkmen Government on September 22.

It was mentioned that implementation of the project in accordance with existing legislation is beneficial by number of aspects. Particularly, it is planned to charge an income tax, establishment of new occupancies, application of modern technologies wheat will make positive effect in environment protection. At the same time, training of national specialists and experience will allow to perform such works by domestic companies in the future.

In this regard, the Head of the State noted that Turkmenistan is starting to use modern environmentally friendly and resource saving technologies in industrial sector. It was highlighted that large reformation programmes implemented in economic sector and social sphere have to be closely related to ecological component.
