Turkmenistan has approved quotas for the admission of graduate students, doctoral students to postgraduate and doctoral studies in the fields of science, registration of applicants for academic degrees, as well as admission of residents to clinical residency in 2025. Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Healthcare and Sports B.Orazdurdiyeva reported on this issue at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on the digital system.
As it was reported, together with the relevant ministries and sectoral departments of the country, the work is being carried out for the successful implementation of the tasks defined in the Program "Revival of a new era of a powerful state.": The National Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052", in the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028" and the State Program "Saglyk", also for further improvement of the educational sector, formation of a new generation of young scientists in the field of digital economy management, training of engineers, technologists, doctors and other specialists competent in innovative technologies.
In this regard, a draft document has been prepared to determine the quotas for admission to postgraduate studies, doctoral and doctoral degrees, clinical residency in research institutions and higher education institutions in 2025, declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust".
After listening the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that great importance is attached to improving the field of science and training highly qualified specialists in the sovereign Motherland, and a lot of work is being done in this regard. Having signed the relevant document, according to which quotas for admission to postgraduate, doctoral and academic degrees, also to clinical residency, were approved, the head of Turkmenistan sent it to the Deputy Prime Minister on the digital system, instructing him to carry out the relevant work.
