Today, the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremonial conference titled "Ahalteke bedewli türkmen – parahatçylygyň ilçisi."

The event was dedicated to the triumph of the "Galkynyş" National Equestrian Games Group from the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan at the 47th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, which once again sparked a wave of national pride. The group brought honor to their homeland by raising the flag of an independent and neutral Turkmenistan on one of the world’s leading stages.

In their speeches, participants noted that the establishment of key institutions in Arkadag city—such as the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding, the Research and Production Center for Horse Breeding, and the State Horse Circus named after Gorogly—demonstrates the existence of a major international center dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Akhal-Teke horses for future generations. A tangible result of these efforts is the creation of a UNESCO club under the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding titled "Akhal-Teke Horses – Ambassadors of Peace." Additionally, UNESCO has included the art of Akhal-Teke horse breeding and traditions of horses’ decoration in its Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Among the ongoing efforts in this field, participants highlighted the activities of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association, whose members make significant contributions to popularizing Akhal-Teke horse breeding and increasing global interest in these legendary Turkmen horses.

Reports dedicated to the "Galkynyş" group emphasized that the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, holds a special place in the history of this team’s rise to global fame. The group first gained international recognition at their debut performance at the "IDOL" World Festival of Circus Art in 2013, where they caused a sensation by winning first place.

The "IDOL" festival marked their launch onto other international circus stages, and since then, "Galkynyş" has become known worldwide. Each subsequent participation in similar competitions has been crowned with top prizes. This time, Turkmen equestrians added another achievement to their country’s circus arts legacy by winning the highest award in Monte Carlo—"Golden Clown."

Adding a festive atmosphere to the event were performances by an ensemble of female dutar players from the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory and a creative group from "Altyn Miras", part of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
