In preparation for the spring sowing campaign, the cotton cleaning enterprises of the "Daşoguzpagta" production association continue to produce seeds of medium-fiber varieties of cotton. Most of them have already been prepared. The rate of seed production instills confidence that the velayat's cotton producers will be provided with sufficient seed material.

The basis of the current seed material will be made up of varieties that have proven themselves in the soil and climatic conditions of the region - "Daşoguz-120", "Daşoguz-114", "Gubadag-3", "Jeýhun", "S-4727", "F-149". All work is carried out under strict control over the quality of the produced material.

Cotton cleaning plants produce various types of sowing seeds. For example, a modern seed cotton processing plant with a capacity of 40 thousand tons of products per year, located in the Koneurgench etrap, is engaged in the production of naked seeds using advanced technology. There is a cotton receiving terminal for the simultaneous storage of 10 thousand tons of raw cotton.

The Dashoguz velayat is one of the largest producers of raw cotton in the country. Every year, hundreds of thousands tons of medium-fiber varieties of "white gold" are collected here. Thanks to the state's successful technical re-equipment and modernization of the industry, the region has all the capabilities to produce valuable crops in large volumes and process them into high-quality, competitive on the world market, environmentally friendly, finished products.

In addition to cotton cleaning plants, several large high-tech textile industries are successfully operating in the region, such as the cotton spinning factory in Dashoguz, which is capable of producing high-quality cotton yarn of the "Ring" brand, which is in high demand on the world market, and the modern cotton spinning factory in the Koneurgench etrap, which has proven itself to be a reliable supplier of products.
