On February 19, 2025, in Ashgabat, the mobile application of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was launched.

According to the website of the department, the event was organized in cooperation with the program to promote borders in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), which is financed by the European Union. The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, a program to promote borders in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), the European Union, also employees of the customs and border departments of the Central Asian countries.

The mobile application of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was developed as part of the “Component 4 Strengthening cross-border cooperation” of the BOMCA 10 program. It allows to keep abreast of the basic customs rules and requirements, the latest changes in this area, regardless of the location. Users can also fill out a passenger declaration through this software.

The deputy chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, who made a welcoming speech, noted that the application will be useful not only in the work of customs officers, but also become an assistant for entrepreneurs and travelers who want to cross the borders of Turkmenistan.
