In secondary school No. 137, located in the residential complex “Täze Zaman”, a concert held by the department of national instruments of the Turkmen State Special Music School named after D. Ovezov under the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulieva.

Students and teachers of the music school prepared a rich program in which traditional Turkmen folk songs, works by talented Mukamchi composers such as Purli Sariev and Annageldi Julgyaev, also compositions by Veli Mukhatov, Nury Halmamedov, and Rejep Rejepov were performed.

The audience was able to enjoy the performances of ensembles of dutar, gidjak and tuyduk performer's, also performers on the canon and baglam.

The highlight of the concert program was the performance of the student orchestra of folk instruments "Shirvan" under the direction of artistic director and conductor Gadam Dzhumaguliev.

The orchestra, which has repeatedly become a winner of state and international competitions, gave the audience a pleasant musical journey, which caused a lively response from everyone present. Many spectators even joined the performance of works, singing to artists from the audience, which created an atmosphere of unity and joy.

The concert, dedicated to the motto of the year "International Year of Peace and Trust", emphasized the importance of preserving the musical heritage and the role of national instruments in strengthening harmony and trust in society. In the context of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, such cultural events are becoming particularly relevant, demonstrating the importance of cultural workers in preserving and developing the country's musical traditions.
