Yesterday, a solemn meeting titled "Ösüşlere beslenen täze döwrüň buýsançly zenanlary" was held at the Central Office of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan in honor of the upcoming International Women's Day. 

The event was organized by the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, political parties of the country, the Central Council of the Union of Women, and public organizations.

At the meeting, speeches were delivered by: Oguljennet Berdiliyeva, Chairwoman of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan, Chairwoman of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan; Chinar Rustamova, Hero of Turkmenistan, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador; Annajemal Nurmuhammedova, a member of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan and the Artistic Director of the folk-ethnographic dance ensemble of the "Tkachi" Cultural Center of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan; Bayramgozel Myradova, the head of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Youth Policy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan; Chemen Koneeva, party organizer of the "White Wheat" committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and a member of the Council of the Ahal Region "Region of White Wheat," the head of the primary women's organization; and Maysa Tamykova, the editor-in-chief of the "Zenan Kalby" magazine.

The participants were also enthusiastically greeted by: Orzatach Nuryeva, a member of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan and a teacher at kindergarten No. 165 in Ashgabat; and Medina Bayramdurdyeva, an artist of the State Circus of Turkmenistan and a student of the 11th grade of the 42nd Special Secondary School in Ashgabat.

In conclusion, a festive concert was held for the female participants, and valuable gifts were presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan in honor of International Women's Day.
