On the eve of International Women's Day, the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan organized a meeting on "The role of women in strengthening family foundations."
The event began with an inspection of the exhibition of folk crafts, which unfolded in the lobby of the Center for Public Organizations. World-famous Turkmen carpets, national costumes, textiles and art paintings telling about the life, customs and traditions of the Turkmen people were presented.
Extensive coverage of the historical and cultural heritage of the Islamic Republic of Iran was provided due to art objects provided by the Iranian Cultural Center located in Ashgabat. The original exhibits, rich and diverse, vividly illustrate the multifaceted cultural heritage of the Iranian people and contribute to a better understanding of their art and way of life.
In continuation of the meeting, the issues of female participation in raising children, the formation of a family way and public life were considered. Particular attention was paid to the international year of peace and trust. The role of modern female entrepreneurs who make a significant contribution to the economy of their countries was also discussed.
The event was attended by women working in various fields. Among them are Director of the Department of Organizational and Cultural events of the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan E. Orazova, editor-in-chief of the "RYSGAL" newspaper of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan G. Gurbanova, head of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan Ebrahim Parviz, member of the administration of Tehran University Maleki Farab Neda Hafez, chairman of the women's Committee of the city of Mashhad and a representative of entrepreneurs Salimi Fatemeh Hossein.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed hope for continued cooperation in the field of women's support and strengthening family values.
