A symposium dedicated to the book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Hakyda göwheri” was held in the Lebap velayat, organized by the Department of Culture of the Lebap velayat together with the branch of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.

About 20 artists from all regions of the country took part in it. According to the program of the event, artists created paintings in the ancient fortress "Dargan", located in the Darganata etrap, in the caravansaray "Dayahatyn" and on the banks of the Amyderya River during the week. And on the final day of the symposium, a large-scale exhibition of artists' works entitled "Hakyda göwheri" was held in the Museum of History and Local Lore of the Lebap velayat.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition, which featured more than 130 new works by artists, was attended by artists from all over the country, as well as heads of regional cultural institutions, students of a specialized art school, teachers and students of the children's art school of the city of Turkmenabat.

People's Artists of Turkmenistan Ovezmammet Ovezmammedov, Ishanguly Ishangulyev, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Myrat Baltayev and others addressed the audience.

The speakers noted the significance of the content of the work of the Hero Arkadag, the importance of the book for the creative intelligency and, especially, for the younger generation.
