The 14th Universiade, which was held under the motto “Türkmenistan – ruhubelentligiň we sagdynlygyň ýurdy”, ended in Turkmenistan. 

The team from Ashgabat took first place among students of comprehensive schools, the Dashoguz velayat team took second place. The school team from the Ahal velayat took third place on the podium.

The Universiade identified the best among secondary vocational and vocational-technical educational institutions, where the places were distributed as follows: 1st place - the team of the agro-industrial secondary vocational school of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A.Niyazov; 2nd place - the team of the Ashgabat secondary vocational school of tourism; 3rd place - the team of the Ashgabat mechanical and technological secondary vocational school of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

Among the higher education institutions, the best team was the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. On the second place were students of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, and on the third place were the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. Among the representatives of the security forces at the Universiade, the best result was shown by the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the second place was taken by the team of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, and the third place was taken by workers of the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan.

The leaders among ministries and industry departments were workers of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the second place was taken by the team of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, and the third place was taken by the team of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

Most of the competitions took place at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
