The celebration of Ashgabat City Day is approaching, and according to tradition, the country's creative teams are preparing special surprises for the public.

Soon, the State Musical and Drama Theater of Dashoguz velayat named after Nurmukhammed Andalib will delight the audience with a premiere - the musical comedy "Galkynan göwünler". The production was carried out by the chief director of the theater Guvanch Baymedov.

The play is based on the work of the People's Writer of Turkmenistan Klychmurat Kakabaev. The plot line covers eternal themes: love, devotion to the Motherland and, what is especially relevant, the grandiose construction that has unfolded in the country.

The main character is a budding architect whose thoughts are occupied with the development of the city and remote villages where digitalization and modern buildings are coming. This makes the production especially significant, as it reflects the current extensive urban development projects in Turkmenistan.

The new performance promises to surprise the audience with unusual techniques, where the actors appear not just as performers, but also as original authors of the narrative. The musical comedy is filled with songs dedicated to the white marble capital, which gives the performance a special atmosphere.

The production involves both recognized masters of the stage and talented young artists. Among them are Honored Artists of Turkmenistan P. Khojanepesov and A. Toylieva, as well as D. Bekdurdiev, M. Gulova, B. Halliev, L. Gafurova, N. Khydyrova, M. Nazarova.

The premiere of "Galkynan göwünler" will be a wonderful gift in honor of Ashgabat City Day and the end of the academic year.
