An event dedicated to the Day of Preservation of the Persian Language and the memory of the great Persian poet Abulkasym Firdausi was held at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi.

The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehani, employees of the diplomatic mission and the Cultural Center at the Embassy, teachers and students of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D.Azadi.

The program of the event included reading poems by Makhtumkuli Fragi and Abulkasym Firdausi in Turkmen and Persian, performing songs based on their poems. The creative team of the Cultural Center "Altyn Miras" performed the folk dance kushtdepdi.
