With the opening of the International Trade Fair in Ashgabat "Turkmentextile Expo – 2025" began a series of fashion shows. The first day of the event ended with a grand evening gala show, where world names and national brands presented a variety of collections that have become a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity.

Turkmen designers presented incredibly captivating performances on the runway, embodying not just a fashion show, but a deep immersion into the multifaceted culture of the people. From the sounds of tuyduk and the melodies of "Lyale" to the ancient dance "Kushtdepdi" and a touching bouquet of yuzerlik in the hands of the models - each element was filled with meaning, recreating a complete picture of the Turkmen soul.

The “Miras” Fashion House of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, one of the flagships of national fashion, has once again confirmed its high status. Their collections, masterfully combining traditional embroidery and modern design, look invariably luxurious and dignified.

The “LN” brand and its founder, Lale Nepesova, stood out among the young talents. Her “Signs of the Zodiac” collection, already celebrated in Milan, harmoniously weaves luxury and archetypal stories, creating a fashion filled with deep meaning.

Jennet Agayeva presented her reinterpretation of women's outfits, exploring the history of Turkmen costume. Shalar Rakhimov reinterpreted the national men's style in his “Oguzlar” collection with the “Goç Ýigit” brand. He was able to make the ancient tribal history relevant to the modern man, showing how traditions can be a source of inspiration for today.

"AINA SARI" demonstrated the elegant interweaving of Turkmen symbols with modern forms. Her collections are wearable art, rich in cultural codes and courageous designs.

Dana Khodjamguliyeva with the brand "DANA PERI" attracted special attention. Her works, painted by the artist's brush, are imbued with national flavor and a deep sense of patriotism. The indescribable delight of the audience was caused by the appearance on the runway of the fashion house "DUMAN", representing jewelry. Their vivid presentation combined historical references, marine and natural themes of Turkmenistan.

Govher Pirkulieva-Gouvernet (France) presented a fresh interpretation of the Turkmen national costume, emphasizing its naturalness and dynamics. Her works became a real bridge between centuries-old traditions and a modern vision, creating a fascinating dialogue between Turkmen motifs and Parisian chic, already noted by Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar.

In addition to Turkmen talents, during the day, the audience also got acquainted with the collections of foreign couturiers from Italy, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Great Britain, India, Uzbekistan and the Netherlands, which once again emphasized the status of the exhibition as a platform for international dialogue.

The organizers of the “Turkmentextile Expo – 2025” managed to create not just fashionable runways, but a real symbol of modern culture and society. The International Trade Fair, held in Turkmenistan for the first time in the International Year of Peace and Trust, has become a truly lively dialogue of cultures, crafts, textiles and innovative ideas that can change the future of the industry.
