Open Joint Stock Company «Miwe», operating in the field of gardening in the territory of the Kaka etrap of the Ahal velayat, completed the first harvest of apples and peaches with a total volume of 180 tons. The apple harvest was collected from a plot of 110 hectares, and the peaches from 115 hectares.

«Miwe», a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, today grows fruit trees of various varieties on a plot of land received for long-term use in accordance with agricultural standards.

In addition to apple and peach trees, dates, rose hips, cherries and pears are cultivated in the «Miwe» orchards. To increase the yield, the company uses a drip irrigation system with foreign equipment, which ensures economical use of water.

For the summer period, special conditions have been created to protect gardens from intense solar exposure. Ecologically clean fruits are supplied to the domestic market through retail outlets and supermarkets. At the same time, the company's employees and specialists have begun phased deliveries of the apple harvest and other fruits for export.
