A concert by Tahyr Atayev's Orchestra dedicated to the theme of love was held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. As the orchestra conductor explained, this theme is always relevant on the stage, and in the peak of the summer season, when all important matters take a back seat, it becomes especially timely.

The concert program opened with the song "Ashgabat" performed by Arslan Tuveniyazov, who confessed his love for the most wonderful city. This theme was continued by Selbi Annadurdyyeva, the Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, with the song "City of Lovers." The concert featured vocal and instrumental performances of hits from Turkmen and foreign pop music. The well-known national songs sounded particularly vividly. The romance "Haýrana galar" by Nury Halmamedov was beautifully performed by Selbi Annadurdyyeva.

Two hits from the 1950s-80s, "Gözleme" and "Köne güzer," which were once distributed in thousands of records, were performed by Berdimyrat Berdiyev. Berdimyrat, also known as the "Golden Tuning Fork," now rarely takes the stage, and his mere appearance is met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. The public highly appreciated the performance of the "Golden Tuning Fork" and kept him on the stage with long applause.

Another surprise of the concert was the debut of the orchestra's violinist Ogulgerek Sultanmyradova. Ogulgerek has a naturally beautiful voice. For the first time, she dared to perform as a vocalist in front of the audience. Ogulgerek sang two songs, "Mad about you" and "Je t’aime," in English and French. The audience warmly supported the debutante.

The concert raised the mood of all listeners. In an interview with journalists, Tahyr Atayev noted that, considering the audience's reaction, he received ideas for the repertoire of national songs.
