Farmers of the Lebap velayat plan to harvest a rich crop from 130 thousand hectares of land sown with cotton this agricultural year. As is known, success in agriculture directly depends on hard work, dedication and devotion to the cause. Following these principles, the farmers the Lebap velayat carefully tend the fields, starting with preparation for sowing, during sowing and until the beginning of fruiting.

Currently, the velayat is actively engaged in fertilizing cotton with mineral fertilizers, conducting inter-row cultivation, watering the shoots and pinching the tops of plants. The effective use of high-performance equipment, modern agricultural implements and trailers significantly accelerates these works.

Thanks to the conscientious work of cotton growers and the smooth operation of machinery, work on the sixth inter-row cultivation continues in cotton fields. More than 40 thousand hectares of land have been processed to date. It should be noted that this important agrotechnical measure, requiring highly qualified machine operators, is carried out at a high level.

A special role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment is played by the etrap production enterprises "Obahyzmat" of the production association "Lebapobahyzmat", which are responsible for the adjustment and repair of agricultural machinery. Machine operators of the Kerki, Halach, Sayat and Danev etraps demonstrate high results in this work.

Irrigation work during the 3rd and 4th stages of cotton growth is also carried out at a high level, which creates conditions for ensuring high crop yields.

An important step in increasing the yield is the minting of cotton, which is successfully carried out in the region. To date, the volume of work carried out in this direction in the Lebap velayat, exceeded 90 thousand hectares. In the Halach, Kerki and Danev etraps of the velayat, this agricultural event was organized especially effectively.

Diligent care of crops indicates that this agricultural year farmers in the eastern region of the country will reap a rich cotton harvest.
