Representatives of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport took part in the Regional Maritime Capacity Enhancement Program in Kuala Lumpur.

The event was organized from July 21 to 25 this year by specialists from the Port Klang in Malaysia, with the support of the country’s Ministry of Transport, aiming to strengthen cooperation and exchange scientific expertise.

The program brought together 29 representatives from 15 countries of Central and South Asia, as well as member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). As part of the program, experts from Malaysia conducted seminars for participants covering key areas of port operations.

Participants studied the specifics of port work planning and learned about the management of cargo handling operations in general, including logistics organization. It is worth noting that the Port Klang is one of the ten largest container ports in the world.
