In the north of the country, preparations for the upcoming harvest of raw cotton have been carried out at a high organizational level.

Preventive maintenance of process equipment and various production facilities has been completed in accordance with the established deadlines at the cotton ginning plants of the "Daşoguzpagta" production association and the sites for storing raw cotton.

The measures taken are designed to ensure high quality work throughout the entire technological chain of primary processing of raw cotton, consisting of the processes of its acceptance, storage, drying, cleaning, separation of fiber and lint from seeds, as well as pressing of fibrous materials.

Each enterprise of the association aims to produce high-quality products through the use of modern resource-saving technologies, while maintaining the natural quality of cotton fiber, and the efficient use of specialized equipment will minimize the loss of cotton and fiber at the stage of their cleaning and processing.

Also in the velayat, cotton harvesting units are fully prepared for the upcoming harvest, the main part of which consists of high-performance "John Deere" combines, and equipment designed for transporting raw materials.

This year, the largest producers of raw cotton in the region are the Akdepe etrap, where they intend to collect 62 thousand tons of crops, and the etrap named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi, where 30 thousand 600 hectares of land were sown with cotton. The newly grown crop consisted of such medium-fiber varieties of cotton as "Daşoguz-120", "Daşoguz-114", "Gubadag-3", "Jeýhun", "S4727", "F149".
