The events dedicated to the completion of the 10th phase of the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA-10) were held in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, from September 3 to 5 this year. Alongside representatives of the relevant agencies of our country, a delegation led by the head of the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan participated in these events.

The main directions of the BOMCA-10 programme, implemented from April 2021 to September 2025, are improving border management, simplifying legal trade, developing cross-border cooperation, and enhancing living conditions for populations in border regions.

As part of the events, an opening ceremony was held for the Analytical Center of the Border Guard Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, established with the assistance of the Programme.

At the closing conference, the program’s results were summarized, and prospects for its next – the 11th phase – were determined. Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan delegation shared their experience on strengthening work in border management, enhancing professional training, and other areas within the framework of the Programme.
