Ashgabat hosts cultural program dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence

On the eve of the historic session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, participants were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture of the country. An extensive cultural program was organized for guests in the theaters, cinemas, museums, and concert halls of the white-marble capital, becoming a true source of inspiration.

The theatrical stages welcomed guests with vibrant performances. The play "Mukaddeslige tagzym" was shown at the Main Academic Drama Theater named after S. Turkmenbashi the Great, and the premiere of the play "Gurbannazar Ezizow" took place at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.

Film screenings took a significant place in the program. Participants watched the film "Törebeg hanym" at the "Ashgabat" cinema, and the film "Nejepoglan," which tells about the magical world of art, was screened at the "Watan" cinema and concert center. The film "Kitap" was shown at the "Turkmenistan" cinema and concert center.

The cultural program was not limited to theaters and cinema. Guests also enjoyed bright performances by artists at the State Circus of Turkmenistan. Additionally, the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan opened the exhibition "Watanymyzyň Garaşsyzlygy – halkymyzyň bagtyýarlygy" (“Independence of the Fatherland – Happiness of the People”), dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the sacred independence of the homeland.

In the upcoming weekend, theater performances will continue, representing the cultural and artistic interpretation of the nation’s rich spiritual heritage.
