The companies "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd." (Japan) and "Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Ticaret Anonim Şirketi" (Republic of Turkiye) will build an industrial complex in Turkmenistan to produce 1,155,000 tons of urea.
The decree authorizing the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" to conclude a contract for the design and construction, including the landscaping of the adjacent territories of the complex with these companies, was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The enterprise will be constructed in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat.
The document mandates the start of construction work in July 2026 and the completion of the complex ready for full operation by February 2030.
