In Turkmenistan, which possesses vast reserves of natural resources, effective work is being carried out in the processing of raw materials, strengthening of economic power, and improvement of the population's standard of living.

In this regard, it should be noted that effective work is being done in the relevant sectors, yielding high labor results. Encouraging successes are also being observed in Lebap velayat in the extraction and export of one of the country’s main natural resources — "blue fuel". This is evidenced by the fact that the dedicated workforce of the “Lebapgazçykaryş” department managed to extract 6 billion 905 million cubic meters of natural gas in nine months. Particularly high results have been achieved by the department’s staff involved in the transportation of gas along the export route Malay–Bagtyýarlyk.

Thanks to the persistent efforts of the region’s gas workers, about 3 billion 771 million 464 thousand cubic meters of gas were transported — significantly exceeding planned targets. The plan for the respective period was fulfilled at 135.9 percent, which means that over 997 million 173 thousand cubic meters more natural gas was transported than planned.

The department also demonstrated strong results in the production of gas condensate: since the beginning of the year, 22,791 tons have been produced, amounting to 109.1% of the planned volume. This success is direct evidence of the effective work in the extraction of this valuable by-product, which serves as an important complement to "blue fuel."

The labor achievements of the Lebap gas workers are linked to the commissioning in the region of powerful gas compressor stations — “Malay” and “Gadyn.”
