A chamber concert of classical music was held in the Small Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulyyeva in the capital of Turkmenistan. The program opened with a series of works by Nury Halmammedov, «Unheard Songs of the Children of Hiroshima and Nagasaki», performed by Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Leyli Okdirova.Leyli possesses a coloratura soprano voice that allows her to express the most subtle nuances conveyed in the verses of Japanese poets and in the music of the empathetic Turkmen composer.
