Turkmenistan started the grain harvesting campaign
The country has started an important agricultural campaign - a grain-harvesting season. According to the schedule approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held on May 31, grain-growers of Akhal, Lebap and Mary velayats started the grain harvesting on June 7 and agriculturists of Balkan and Dashoguz regions will join them on June 14.

The delegation of Turkmenistan participates in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
The delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Minister of Finance and Economy Serdar Jorayev is taking part in the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024), which started on the 5th of June in the northern capital of Russia, with which Turkmenistan has had many years of fruitful cooperation. The main theme of this year's forum is formulated as «The basis of a multipolar world is the formation of new growth points». According to the organizers, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum platform creates opportunities for discussions at the highest level, scaling ideas, solutions and initiatives to all spheres of public life and the activities of the states participating in its work.

Turkmenistan took part in the Central Asian Trade Policy Forum
Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the second Central Asian Trade Policy Forum, organized by the WTO in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and the International Trade Centre on the topic «Economic integration through accession and membership in the WTO». At the three-day forum in Almaty, which brought together representatives of six regional countries, from the 3rd to 5th of June, discussions took place on key aspects of international trade, the dynamics of intraregional trade turnover and economic integration.
