Turkmen football players start in the qualifying tournament of the 2027 Asian Cup
The Turkmenistan national football team will start today in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying tournament with a match against the Chinese Taipei team. The game will be held in Kaohsiung, the second largest city and largest port on the island of Taiwan in the Republic of China with a population of about 2.77 million people. The venue will be the National Stadium with a capacity of 55,000 people. This sports facility in the shape of a semi-spiral resembling a dragon is the first stadium in the world to be powered by solar energy.
