The Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing organizations in Asia. This decision was announced at the General Assembly of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) held in Hong Kong, during which ATF President Yuriy Polskiy presented a commemorative trophy to Eziz Dovletov, Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan. The ATF General Assembly meeting was timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the organization, which includes 45 countries.

Football club "Arkadag" has defended its title as the champion of Turkmenistan. The team, representing the city of state significance with the same name, achieved this success ahead of schedule, five rounds before the end of the national championship, by defeating Balkanabat's "Nebitchi" 5-1 in a rescheduled match of the 28th round.

Amanmukhammet Hommadov, an 18-year-old candidate master from Ashgabat, emerged as the winner of the Turkmenistan Chess Federation Cup. The student from the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports achieved this success by winning a tournament held in a Swiss system format with 11 rounds and classical time control.
